Alpha One Kayaks LLC, is a family owned business and is the brain child of Jen and Rich. They both absolutely love the serenity of our jewel of a lake, as well as the team work of operating a business hand in hand.

Rich grew up enjoying the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, and moved to Lake Tahoe in 1997. For nearly 10 years he worked for one of the largest marina/resorts in Lake Tahoe. He also spent another decade as Concierge Manager for the two largest casino hotels in Lake Tahoe. For five years straight, Rich earned the title of Best Hospitality Employee in all of Lake Tahoe in the local newspaper. 



Jen was born and raised in Northern Nevada and her fondest memories were of being part of the Tahoe Yacht Club. Her roots run deep here in Tahoe with ancestry being founders the Glenbrook area. As "the brains" of Alpha One Kayaks, Jen is also a Doctor of Pharmacy!

Like the Brady Bunch, Rich & Jen are a blended family of 7 wonderful children; John, Dylan, Cody, Ricky, Mads, Zoe, and Ashley. They all enjoy living the epic Tahoe lifestyle of sun and fun in the Summer, and all that splendid snow in the Winter.
